Two people, four hundred decisions

Wedding planning goes wrong in a specific way. One person ends up holding all of it: the spreadsheet, the supplier emails, the running total, the fact that the venue needs an answer by Friday. The other person is willing to help and has no idea what is outstanding, so they ask, get a long answer, and the asking itself becomes another task.

The problem is not effort. It is that the plan lives in one head and one set of browser tabs.

Put the plan somewhere you both stand in

Start a chat in Unium, send your partner the link, and they join in a tap on iPhone or the web. The plan lives in the thread, shared with everyone on your account, so neither of you is the archive.

The AI opens it by asking what you already know: rough date, rough budget, rough guest count, and the one or two things each of you actually cares about. Ask it separately and you get honest answers. Most couples discover they are optimising for different things, and it is much cheaper to find that out before the deposits.

Where it earns its keep

  • Turning "about this much" into a budget with lines, and telling you which line is the one that always overruns.
  • Building the order of operations. What has to be booked before what, and what can wait.
  • Guest list arithmetic, including the awkward tier questions, without either of you having to be the one who says it.
  • Drafting the messages you are putting off. Suppliers, the relative with opinions, the friend who is not getting a plus one.
  • Keeping a running list of what is decided, what is pending, and what is waiting on somebody else.

Ask it what is unresolved and it will tell you. That single question is most of what a wedding planner does for the first three months.

It keeps chasing after you stop

Because the thread is shared and the AI has the whole history, either of you can pick it up cold. You open it on the way home, ask what still needs doing this week, and get an answer that accounts for the conversation your partner had with it yesterday.

On a paid plan you can also change model per message. Useful when one gives you a suspiciously agreeable answer about the budget.

One subscription for both of you

Adding your partner does not add a bill. One Unium plan covers everyone on the account, from $10 a month, and getting started is free on a model we choose for you.

Check the things that cost money

Confirm supplier availability, prices, deposit terms, cancellation rules, and anything legal about the ceremony with the actual supplier or registrar. AI is good at structure and drafting and unreliable about who has a free Saturday in September.
