The problem with chats stuck in one account

Most AI chats live inside a single account, and the only way to show someone what the model said is a screenshot or a pasted block of text. The trouble is that a screenshot throws away everything the model knew when it wrote the answer. The other person can read it, but they cannot ask the obvious follow-up, because the context is gone.

So you end up as a middleman, relaying messages between a person and a model they cannot see. That gets old fast.

Shared is the default, not a setting you go hunting for

In Unium, the chats you start are visible to the people on your account. That is the point of the product, not an option buried in a menu. The other person opens the real thread, reads the whole history, and keeps it going. The model still has the context, so a follow-up gets an answer that still makes sense.

The AI is not a bystander in there either. It can open the conversation, ask each of you for your side, and answer both of you in the same thread instead of telling two people two different stories.

Adding someone takes one link

Send the link by message, or show a QR code. They join in one tap, on iPhone or on the web, and the AI keeps track of who said what. There is no seat to buy and no second subscription: one plan covers everyone on the account.

Keeping one to yourself

Not everything should be shared, and nothing forces it. Long press any chat and make it private. A private chat stays yours, and nothing from it is shared back.

That combination is the useful part. Default to shared, so the AI is actually helpful between you, and keep the handful of chats that are nobody else's business out of it.

Where this actually helps

A few cases come up again and again.

Working something out together. Two people on the same thread, building on each other rather than running two separate chats and comparing notes later.

Handing off half-finished work. You set up a thread, get it most of the way there, and someone else carries it forward without you re-explaining the background.

Helping someone less sure of themselves. A more confident user sets up a good conversation, and the person who finds AI a bit intimidating just continues it.
